The Vanquish 250 is a premium “heat-powered” fan designed for use on the top of a wood-burning, log or multi-fuel stove. Instead of being powered by electricity or batteries, it uses the heat from the stove to generate its own power and circulate warm air around a room.

The fan sits on the top surface of the stove (ideally the rear/top-plate near the flue outlet) so it can absorb heat.

As the stove surface heats up, the fan’s thermoelectric / Peltier module (or equivalent heat-to-electricity device) generates electricity which powers the fan motor.

The blades are designed to pull the warm air rising from the stove surface and push it horizontally into the room, thereby distributing it more evenly and quickly.

Because it’s heat-powered, there are no running costs (no mains power, no new batteries) and the fan begins working once a certain stove temperature is reached.
