Where it earns its place on a narrowboat
This 22 × 22 × 15mm reducing tee connects three compatible pipes where the sizes differ. Useful when altering an onboard hot or cold water run, it lets you make the junction with one fitting rather than adding a separate reducer.
Choose the right fitting
- Connection sizes: 22 × 22 × 15mm.
- Check the manufacturer’s port layout as well as the three sizes before ordering.
- For hot and cold water and central heating within John Guest’s limits.
- Demountable push-fit connections with Twist & Lock nuts.
Before you fit it
Use with compatible Speedfit PEX or polybutylene pipe, or copper pipe. Match the fitting to the pipe’s outside diameter. Plastic pipe needs the correct manufacturer’s insert; copper pipe does not. Isolate the water, make a clean square cut and follow John Guest’s insertion and locking instructions. Check the joint for leaks before closing up the cupboard or access panel.
