Give an onboard water line a new branch.
Where it earns its place on a narrowboat
Use this equal tee when adding a branch to a compatible water line for a galley or bathroom supply. All three connections take the same pipe diameter, so you can extend a run without changing pipe size.
Choose the right fitting
- Equal tee: three same-size push-fit connections.
- Select 10mm, 15mm or 22mm to match your pipe.
- Suitable for hot and cold water and central heating within John Guest’s specified limits.
- Demountable connection; no soldering required.
Before you fit it
Use with compatible Speedfit PEX or polybutylene pipe, or copper pipe. Match the fitting to the pipe’s outside diameter. Plastic pipe needs the correct manufacturer’s insert; copper pipe does not. Isolate the water, make a clean square cut and follow John Guest’s insertion and locking instructions. Check the joint for leaks before closing up the cupboard or access panel.
