Join two matching pipe ends and get the water line back together.
Where it earns its place on a narrowboat
This straight connector suits a compatible pipe extension or a repair where there is enough movement to insert both pipe ends fully. It joins equal diameters; it is not a reducer or a slip repair coupling.
Choose the right fitting
- Choose 10mm, 15mm or 22mm; both ends use that size.
- Straight push-fit connector.
- For hot and cold water and central heating within the manufacturer’s limits.
- Twist & Lock connection, demountable for access.
Before you fit it
Use with compatible Speedfit PEX or polybutylene pipe, or copper pipe. Match the fitting to the pipe’s outside diameter. Plastic pipe needs the correct manufacturer’s insert; copper pipe does not. Isolate the water, make a clean square cut and follow John Guest’s insertion and locking instructions. Check the joint for leaks before closing up the cupboard or access panel.
