Vitcas Heat Resistant Tile Adhesive is a ready mixed tile adhesive specially formulated for use high temperature conditions where ordinary tile cements are inadequate for the long term retention of tiles.


Vitcas Heat Resistant Tile Adhesive should be used for fixing tiles in areas subject to high temperatures, such as fire surrounds, behind boilers, ranges, cookers and radiators.
Only a thin joint is required (max. 3mm), ensuring that a repaired tile does not stand proud. Vitcas Tile Adhesive can also be used with stone, granite, marble and slate but heavy items must be physically supported.
For uneven surfaces where a thicker joint is needed use Vitcas HB60.  


Vitcas Heat Resistant Tile Adhesive should be used straight from the tub having stirred the contents into a smooth paste.
Tile Adhesive should be applied with a Vitcas 6mm tile comb on to wall and then the tiles should be pressed to the adhesive giving a 3mm bed. The adhesive will normally dry overnight but it is beneficial if the joint can be heated to some degree. When applying on fresh cement or plaster surfaces, it is important to seal the surface using a VITCAS PVA adhesive sealer before applying the adhesive, otherwise bonding may be impaired. If using porous tiles, marble, granite or slate it essential to seal the back surface with Vitcas PVA Adhesive Sealer.  
Surplus Heat Resistant Tile Adhesive must be removed immediately from any tile surfaces with a damp cloth.

Tile Adhesive MUST BE completely set before grouting.

For internal use only, for external applications use Vitcas HB60.

Not to be used as a grout. For grouting use VITCAS Heat Resistant Tile Grout
